SECURED AND SAFE “FRIDAY NIGHT” IN BINALBAGAN

Municipality of Binalbagan— “Friday Night” has been a tourist event for the past 10 years not only to extend entertainment to the community but also to provide livelihood to micro entrepreneurs. This is also a venue in where to showcase the talents of the performing bands from the locality and nearby towns. The event runs through the month of September up to the Holiday Seasons of December. The months of January up to March were usually an off season due to weather hindrances. “Friday Night” once again enjoyed by the month of April until through the celebration of Balbagan Festival in May.
Last September 16, 2016, “Friday Night” was opened once again by the Municipality Mayor Emmanuel I. Aranda and supported by Municipal Police Station OIC, PCI Lester L. Leada that ensures the overall public safety in every event of the Municipality. Public Order and Safety has been highly promoted in Binalbagan, from which the local population is able to move freely without fear of undue violence.
The full force of PNP- Binalbagan together with the LDRRMO are present to strengthen the security and welfare of the event. The LGU believes that security and safety is a must in every “Friday Night”, community and guests from other towns and municipalities builds confidence and continuously enjoy this activity. “We have eyes and ears in Binalbagan. Safe-Secured “Friday Night” is our priority” quoted from the Deputy Chief of Police PINST Rhojn Darrel H. Nigos, Police Officer in charged in the absence of the Chief of Police.
People who patronize “Friday Night” in Binalbagan are guaranteed to a 100% Smoke Free Binalbagan which is being strictly implemented under the Municipal Ordinance No. 14-13 series of 2014. Also in support to the Republic Act 9003 otherwise known as the Solid Waste Management Act that guests and vendors are responsible of their waste disposal during the event.
